I have taught for 15 years from grades 8 - 12th. I enjoy physics and math and really work with my students so that they understand each problem and solution. I am able to explain a concept in many different ways and know where students usually struggle when solving for an answer. Great tutor!
Feel like we were really lucky getting such a great tutor just based off of random reviews. Brianna worked with our son to help him prepare for the AP Physics exam. She kept him super organized and very engaged over several months. Really appreciated how Brianna gave him targeted things to work on between lessons. Our son always looked forward to tutoring sessions and found them fun, relevant and interesting. He felt very well prepared going into exam, and felt confident post exam. Thanks Brianna!!! One of a kind AP Physics 1 Tutor
My daughter was struggling in her second semester of AP Physics 1. Her teacher was not conveying the material in a way she could relate, provided assessments that were using AP Physics C questions and not being available to help her after class. I opted to get her a tutor and after interviewing many physics tutors on Wyzant I selected Brianna. I knew we hit the jackpot. Brianna has an amazing understanding of physics and the AP Physics 1 exam. She teaches the material and strategy simultaneously. Though her hourly rate is higher than other tutors she is worth it. Her experience as a writer of AP Physics 1 questions and grading the exam is priceless. She not only teaches content she shows you how to know it for the MCQs and FRQs. That’s key. Brianna is tireless. She is committed to my daughter’s success and is not watching the clock. She wants to make sure you end the session at a natural point and are able to later digest and apply what she taught. She has patience of steel. She not only provides detailed write ups of each lesson as required but she will answer every question my daughter had and converse with me on the Wyzant platform after each lesson until I’ve exhausted all my questions. I can say as an instructor myself that she embodies what a true professional instructor is. She is patient, knowledgeable, conversant, interesting, committed and genuine. My daughter may not get a 5 on the exam. That’s ok! But I know she had the best instruction money can buy. We hired Brianna for over 20 one hour sessions from mid April to exam day. So my recommendation is based on much interaction with Brianna. Thank you Brianna. For everything!
