I recently had the opportunity to work with Alex and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The tutor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and skilled in helping my son to understand complex chemistry concepts. Progressing through General Chemistry I, Alex has made me a better student not just in chemistry but in all classes. We had previously discussed studying options and has made me want to study more. After moving forward to lessons to wavelength, frequency, and calculations, Alex helped me in things other than chemistry. He provides lessons tailored to your needs that personally helped me progress in understanding the different ideas and situations. Well prepared is an understatement for Alex considering how much time he spends in preparing for every lesson. When it comes to the student asking questions, he is punctual and very helpful. His lessons are truly motivating as well because I actually look forward to his lessons.

4 major principles in 1 hour

In the one hour lesson that we had, Alex helped me understand 4 major principles that I knew almost nothing about to understand them fully plus work on electron configurations. My professor took 6.5 hours in total over 8 classes teaching something he was able to teach me in an hour. While I totally believe that working one on one with someone is very beneficial, being able to work with someone that understands where and why you are struggling in the situation helps even more. He goes along with the pace that one needs instead of skipping around (overcomplicating), continuing on too quickly, or spending major amounts of time on items that you already understand.

Great at explaining, very patient!

Alex has the best patience after I literally had to have him rework problems for me for my chemistry exam. I procrastinated until 3 days before my exam to finally get actual help and I’ve never met anyone so helpful. I already scheduled a two hour session for tomorrow and will keep my sessions throughout chemistry I&II. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything Alex!
