I am currently working toward becoming a full-time teacher and have now been tutoring in English and Writing for about two years. I absolutely adore literature and writing, twin passions I have had since childhood.

The primary reason I desire to work in education is because of my love of the English language and stories that can be told through it. I hope to inspire young minds and encourage others to find enjoyment in reading and writing. I understand the struggles that students go through when they find a particular subject in school to be difficult. I myself struggled greatly in mathematics as a student. With the help of passionate tutors and teachers, I was able to succeed in my classes. The idea that others may feel the same way about Reading Comprehension, English, Grammar, or Literature simply breaks my heart. I want nothing more than to help someone struggling in these subjects to not only succeed but to also develop a passion for said subjects.

Over the last few years, I have chosen a major career shift toward education. However, I have had significant experience in writing, editing, and research in my previous professional jobs. Writing and editing have always been important parts of the various jobs that I have held since college. Additionally, reading has been a lifelong passion of mine, something that my mother instilled in me at a very early age. As a result, I have spent countless hours reading classical literature and developing my comprehension skills through intense analysis of these literary works.

So far, most of my tutoring experiences have fit into several different categories. Initially, I began helping students develop concepts for papers, and then editing said papers before they submitted them for grading. I have since expanded my areas of tutoring assistance to helping ESL (English as a Second Language) Students, something I have become particularly passionate about. I love to work with those that are trying to better understand the English language and have developed several programs that my ESL clients have found to be highly effective. I am also doing some freelance writing at the moment, mostly helping clients develop content for their websites.

I really do hope that you give me the opportunity to assist you with your tutoring needs. I am very passionate about this subject matter and have a very calm and patient demeanor. I understand that many people are struggling financially these days, so I am willing to be flexible with payment if need be. Ultimately I just want to have a positive impact on individuals and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that I was able to help someone through whatever it is that they are struggling with. I also realize that there is no single method of teaching that works for all students. As a result, I try to have a flexible teaching style. Essentially, I will work with my client to figure out what methods work best for them, and then adapt my tutoring style to fit their specific needs. Of course, I am more than willing to answer any questions that prospective clients may have. Feel free to contact me anytime!

I have been working with ESL/ESOL students for the last year and a half now. Classical Literature has been a significant passion of mine since early childhood. I was introduced to Classical Literature by my Mother, a teacher herself, at a very early age. Consequently, I began reading novels that were considered to be far more advanced than an elementary aged child should be able to handle. This early exposure to Classical Literature has given me a great deal more experience in the subject than most of my peers, which has caused me to be forever grateful for my literary-filled upbringing.

I have been working in professional writing and editing for several years now. Before I started tutoring, I worked with a number of clients, including the Florida Agritourism Association, to develop content for their websites and apps. Additionally, I served as the lead editor for a commercial real estate appraisal company for a year. There, I developed professional business report templates, and edited content that would be sent to clients ranging from banks to the government. Beyond that, I took several writing classes in college and pursue creative writing in my personal time.

Everything went very well. Zeke is very skilled, made me feel at ease with my problems. Glad I have him as my teacher, I wouldn't wish for a better one. I will definitely continue classes with Zeke and like the method of writing the summary on a particular subject.

Patient, organized tutor

We made a plan for the end of the semester and we made an outline for my sociology of law term paper. He was very helpful and I am much less stressed. We also started revising my marriage and family paper.

Knowledgeable and patient

I really enjoyed his tutoring style, for example his patience ( to explain things very clearly and concisely) and his explanations are my favorite things. He taught me so many tricks that I would have never learned with out him. I recommend him it was worth every penny! He helped me improve my writing over all and with his help i got an A, in my class!
