Bio

Teaching is my passion. I started tutoring math when I was in high school and gained a lot of personal satisfaction from that experience.

I still remember my excitement when my first advanced algebra tutee received his first “A” on a quiz! After graduating from high school, I attended Ankara technical University and graduated with a bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering.

I still remember my excitement when my first advanced algebra tutee received his first “A” on a quiz! After graduating from high school, I attended Ankara technical University and graduated with a bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering.

I continued tutoring math and physics for undergraduate students while studying at the university. After graduating, I worked for a few years in Arneg, and Migros Company.

Although I enjoyed working as an engineer, my love for teaching drew me back to school so that I could pursue that path. Currently, I am attending Georgia Perimeter College to earn a degree in education.

I have been tutoring Math and Physics for more than 10 years for different age groups from elementary school to college students. I have learned to cater my teaching style to fit the needs of each student based on age and skill level.

For example, I created songs to teach my first grade tutee how to add two numbers, but I gave my college student daily quizzes to help him prepare for exams. I have developed proficiency providing personalized and interactive tutoring services to adverse group of students including special education students as well as mainstream students with diverse backgrounds.

My artistic and computer skills always make the learning experience fun and my positive attitude and passion educate struggling learners. I work with students, parents and their teachers to find out their weakest points and provide skills to turn those weakness to strengths. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve their goals. I would love the opportunity to interview with you and answer your questions.

Exceptional Math tutor

My daughter has taken a few classes from Mr. Abtin recently for AP PreCalculus. Mr. Abtin is very knowledgeable and has a great teaching style. My daughter enjoyed the classes and she has gotten a good understanding of the subject just from a few classes.
