I am a Former Army National Guard Intelligence & Administration professional trained and skilled in speech, communications and foreign languages, handling classified and sensitive information and preparing reports, screening, debriefing and interviewing, and professional training and development.
I spent the last three years using my research, intelligence gathering, human resources, communications, and administration skills transitioning into the civilian Business Strategy & Development, Career Advisement, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources Management sectors through volunteering, continuing education, contract work, and freelance consulting.
I have a true passion for advising alternative career professionals and creative career professionals on strategic planning, operations, administration, professional development and business endeavors.
I was an ESL Teacher in Daegu, South Korea and studied Korean Linguistics at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA.
I have a BA in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and have over 10 years of experience in business administration, communications, editing, copywriting, and proofreading.
I currently teach Business Workshops on Transferable Skills at General Assembly Atlanta and speak on professional panels throughout the city. I worked as an Executive Recruiter, Human Resources Specialist, & Career Counselor in the United States Army National Guard and hold a graduate level Human Resources Certification from Emory University. I have spent the last three years working as an independent Creative & Alternative Career Professional Consultant; I assist Creative Professionals in personal, professional, and business development.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have experience as a Career Counselor for soldiers in the United States Army National Guard, a College & Career Adviser for high schools students through a local nonprofit, and a Career & Business Consultant for Creative and Alternative Career professionals throughout Atlanta. Additionally, I periodically teach a Transferable Skills course at General Assembly Atlanta.
I am a graduate of the Department of Defense's Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (2011). I completed the 64-week Korean Language Proficiency course as the Class Leader and delivered the graduation speech. I also taught English as a Second Language in Daegu, South Korea (2008). I absolutely love watching Korean dramas and trying out various Korean restaurants.
