I have recently finished my Master's in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, with a minor in Physics. I went to Davidson College to earn my undergraduate degree in Physics. I am from South Carolina and have been a tutor and sometimes a substitute teacher since 2010. I have experience tutoring at high school and college levels.

Mark helped me learn very abstract concepts in Semiconductor devices. He was friendly and able to take complex concepts and simply them into easy to understand concepts.
Mark consistently goes above and beyond what's required of him. As he helped me fully comprehend algebraic concepts, he drafted a formula study guide. He constantly makes sure that I'm understanding the information, and if he feels that my facial expression shows that I'm still confused he will use metaphors or real world examples to make sense of the information. He's a great tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
