About Erin

I attended Florida Institute of Technology where I graduated top of my class with a BS in Civil Engineering. I was a student athlete all four years of my undergraduate studies and began tutoring other student athletes during my sophomore year of college. During my junior and senior years, I helped younger students in my program at the recommendation of my faculty advisor. During my time in graduate school and currently, I work with the volleyball players I coach during study hall.

I primarily tutor in math, science, and engineering. However, I am capable of tutoring in other subjects as well. I teach students concepts and reasoning in problem solving in order to make them fully understand the material, instead of just focusing on the example problem at hand. This teaching theory has helped my students achieve success on exams and in their coursework.

I have taken nearly every math course offered at the university level and always received an A or B. I understand concepts well and can teach good methods to problem solving.

Please feel free to contact me with any further questions you may have. I look forward to working with you soon!
