Hello. I have a master's degree in chemistry and have an undergraduate degree in math. I have taken quite a few math and science classes. I am proficient in helping with ACT/SAT math and science tests. I can help with college and high school math and science classes as well. I tutor middle and elementary school students depending on the subject. I am knowledgeable and kind. I've been told that I make it easy to learn and not feel stressed. I'm here to help in all ways and I listen to everything. Helping with things in the textbook isn't always the only way to make better grades, it may be text anxiety or a learning condition. I am here to help with everything.
My specialties include : Act math, algebra 1 and 2, prealgebra, precalculus, and SAT math. I can also help with any high school or below science class. I am free after 4 p.m. on weekdays, and free most weekends. With a little warning, I can meet on quick notice. I have a great track record of improving grades and knowledge. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
