As an advanced Toastmaster with 12 years of experience in public speaking, presentation and interviewing skills preparation I am uniquely qualified to help you get to the next level in these areas. I've personally competed and won numerous speaking contests over the last several years. My experience includes coaching a client for the interview process of the Ms Atlanta pageant which she went on to win. I've also worked with a scholarship service that prepares students for the interview segment of the Bill Gates Millennial Foundation Scholarship. I coached a student to make a speech before an audience of 1000 who went on to become the first male winner of that scholarship.
I am certified as a facilitator with a company that prepares high school and college students to create future goals and effectively implement them. I've worked with churches, youth groups, corporations and non profits on how to make powerful presentations that persuade. My most impactful work came when I tutored and coached an entire high school football team who won a Dekalb County record breaking $2.5 million dollars in scholarships one year and was featured on the front page of the AJC. I'd love the opportunity to make you a winner at speaking as well! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
