About Giulia

Born in Italy, I lived and studied there till I graduated from college at the Univesita' degli Studi di Urbino.
I moved to the States in 2008, and here is where I found my passion for teaching all I know about my country of origin, Italian language and Italian cuisine. I'm a friendly, energetic and happy person, and I love to share my positive energy with all around me.
I worked as an Italian instructor at Kennesaw State University, and I currently teach online for a private company.
I am available for any kind of program and personalized need, such as grammar of any level, conversation, reading and listening comprehension. I offer online lessons through Skype as well as in person, one-on-one or group classes. I'm also available for translations and interpreting services.
My other passion is cooking. I started cooking when I was very young, and I always loved helping my grandmother in the kitchen. In everything I cook there is always a touch of my Neapolitan grandmother, nonna Rosetta. Since I moved to the United States, I have enjoyed cooking and baking even more. For about a year I worked with the pastry chef at my husband's restaurant. I am also a certified Wilton Cake Decorator.
Choose an Italian recipe and I'll teach you how to make it, together with all the tricks and secrets. Just to mention the most popular recipes, we can make lasagna, meatballs, meatloaf, ragu' sauce, risotto of any kind, fresh pasta, pizza, tiramisu', pannacotta, biscotti cantucci, crostate and many more.
Looking forward to sharing my love of the Italian language, culture and food with you!
Ciao
Giulia

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
