My name is Erick. I currently work as a software engineer, but I also have experience teaching advanced French in high school and several years of tutoring experience. I have taught children and adults in the classroom and in private settings. I currently live in France with my wife and child and I'm ready to transmit the lessons I've learned throughout my decade of being exposed to French or sharing my JavaScript/software engineering knowledge.

Learning a second language is not easy and being the parent of a student learning another language is even harder. Language is repetitive and can't be learned with out immersion and continuity. That being said the manner in which Erick approaches his work not only helps the student reach the desired goal quicker but also holds them accountable for reaching the goal. When Erick observes gaps in learning, he helps with the task at hand but also provides additional insight and lessons designed to assist the student with filling the gap such that the student relies on him less and less as he or she learns more and more. He keeps the parent informed so that you can ask your son or daughter questions about what they have learned or should be doing on their own. Wish we would have found him two years ago.
