My name is Crystal and I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I'm passionate about making the impossible possible when learning. One of my favorite quotes is by Robert Frost "I'm not a teacher, but an awakener". I believe anything can be learned, it is just a matter of finding what works for the individual.
I have a degree in Biology from Oglethorpe University and vast knowledge of all things math and science related. I began tutoring in junior high school and have being doing the same ever since with fantastic results, ranging from helping children as young as 4 years old learn to read to helping seasoned adults understand and pass their math and science related classes to graduate from college. I have knack for making the complex simple by relating what the individual is learning to real world experiences.
Thanks for stopping by and reviewing my profile; if you think I can assist you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Crystal is an excellent tutor. She was able to break down Chemistry and show my daughter a helpful hint on how to remember the steps to solve the problems. My daughter understood more from this first session than 2 weeks in her class at school.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
