When I first contacted Dwayne I only had two weeks too prepare for the Practical Exam. He responded in less then two hours, and we set up an appointment. Dwayne went, in depth, over the material and overly prepared me for the exam. While taking the test, I felt very prepared and confident with the material. I would highly recommend Dwayne to anyone who is taking the test.
I have had the pleasure of working with Dwayne recently, and although there had been some blips on my end, he was extremely patient and always found time to reschedule.
Working with Dwayne is a combination of dedication to the practice, patience, and most of all good vibes all around. He is very helpful, and has no problem taking the time to thoroughly go over the material and make sure the student understands.
I would recommend Dwayne to anyone looking for an easygoing session with all of the benefits.
Dwayne was very patient and kind. He made sure I understood full concepts and the functions of hair (cosmetology). All which will help me pass my written exam. He exceeded my expectations. The facility where Dwayne teaches in is very pleasant as well, adding to the experience. I would recommend him to anyone taking the California state board written exam or the practical exam.
Dwayne is very committed to the success of his students. He knows the material thoroughly and gives helpful and productive assignments. He is very easy to reach by phone and email. He always responds quickly. I am thrilled and feel so lucky to have found Dwayne! He's better than I could have hoped. I recommend him without any reservation.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
