Kansas State University (Criminal Justice)
My name is Jeff W. I played division one basketball at Kansas State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 1992. Playing point guard my entire career, I was expected to be the leader and have an understanding of the whole game of basketball. Standing just under six feet tall I had to developed my skills in all areas. I became an strong ballhandler, I became an offensive threat, I became a tough competitor, as well as being named team captain my senior year through hard work and commitment. I set the single season steals record with 66 thefts in 1991 and was named the most inspirational player that same season. Following my playing career at Kansas State, I became an assistant coach at Western Illinos University through the 1994 season where our new coaching staff won 20 games. I later relocated to Peoria, Illinois and coached boys basketball at the middle school and high school levels, winning conference & city championships at each level. I have been recognized by parents as a positive influence, good teacher of the game, and providing the youth with the confidence that's necessary for them to succeed. I would greatly appreciate any opportunity given to work with your youth and earn your trust as a knowledgable and influential teacher.
