Joshua is very knowledgeable and sincerely interested in his students doing well. He kept after me and continued to challenge me until I knew the material. A great instructor.
Joshua is well organized, going above and beyond the need. He has helped me by taking enough time in answering all my questions and following up as well and preparing notes for all the questions even before the class. I really recommend Joshua for any one who is serious in learning and solving economics.
Joshua is an outstanding and highly perceptive tutor who is a wonderful communicator. He is very caring and invested in your success.
Joshua's individual approach, experience and expertise were invaluable components to achieving my goal. My test taking skills and confidence soared many times over with his guidance!
I highly recommend his services!!
I searched the internet for several days trying to find a tutor for the Series 7. Since I am from a small town, there are no tutors in my area. Through the website, I found Joshua and I am so happy I did! I flew to Atlanta work with him.
Before I met with Joshua for our first meeting, he asked me to send him a list of a few topics I was struggling with. When I arrived first day of tutoring, Joshua had prepared an in depth outline of what we were going to cover that day and what I should continue to do to move forward.
He was very knowledgeable in every topic we covered during our time working together. He also used his current and past experiences working in the financial world as examples for many complex subjects, that really helped me retain the material. I am still receiving reminders from Joshua to make sure I stay on track. I have already told Joshua that when my next financial test is required, I will be flying down again. I would encourage anyone that is looking for some help with the series 7 or any other financial exam to use Joshua!
Joshua is well prepared, thorough, and very knowledgeable. He asks for a class syllabus prior to meeting which he thoroughly studies making each session efficient and productive. He clearly explains the material and is able to address any difficulties the student has in understanding the material. He has been extremely helpful in clarifying difficult concepts. I have been very pleased with Joshua's tutoring services and would highly recommend him!
I can't say enough about Joshua S. He is super professional and very supportive of my progress. I highly recommend him.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As a graduate of the #1 MBA program in the world - Harvard Business School - I have mastered most business topics. I graduated Harvard with Honors, tutored five business topics while I was there, and have tutored, lectured and taught numerous business topics, both at the graduate level and the undergraduate level. I am currently one of the top business school lecturers at my university, rated 4.8 out of a 5.0 by students.
I served in the Admissions office of a graduate school of business and now advise students on how to successfully apply to top graduate schools of business (Harvard, Chicago (Booth), Duke (Fuqua), Columbia, Harvard, etc.
I have mentored over 30 students into top schools (MBA programs) over the years by taking a structured planful approach to: application timing, application outlining and question/answer design, reference selection, selection of schools, presenting "problematic" performance, and coaching through the interview process.
I am qualified to teach the CFA. I am a Harvard MBA with Honors, and a University of Chicago BA in economics and math. I have completed extensive course work at a "grade A" level of proficiency in all of the areas of the CFA exam, including: portfolio managment, corporate finance, analysis of equity investments, fixed income securities, derivatives, economics, quantitative methods, and alternative investments. Furthermore, I ran a hedge fund as a managing director for several years, was a managing director at Morgan Stanley in investment banking, and am a highly rated (4.8 out of 5.0) instructor at the university level teaching in the Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Methods Department at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. I myself have also passed five (5) of the Series exams, which have similar content to the CFA and similar testing environments.

Some courses cover redistribution of income, international trade, more advance taxation topics
WyzAnt has approved me to teach the Series 7. The Series 63 is a much, much simpler exam. I have passed 5 Series exams, all in the first sitting: the Series 7 (the hardest of them all), the 24, the 63, the 82, and the 79. I have already received a WyzAnt 5 star rating from the student I have been teaching the Series 7 to through Wyzant. I am a Harvard MBA with Honors, and a University of Chicago BA in Economics. I appreciate your consideration.
I have passed the Series 7, the Series 24, the Series 63, and the Series 82 on the first attempt. I am a Harvard MBA, with a BA from the University of Chicago in Economics, who has run a hedge fund, done mergers and acquisitions work, and was a partner at Morgan Stanley in Investment Banking in New York - so I have served many of the job functions that the Series 7 prepares one for.
