About Diana

Hello. I am an attorney in the Atlanta area. I have fifteen years of legal experience, including employment law and appellate work. If you are a law student or a student studying legal issues at the undergraduate or graduate level, I will be happy to assist you with your various legal subjects. The study of law can be daunting, but it's not rocket science! With focus, organization, and understanding, you can do well in your legal studies.

In addition to law tutoring, I am also available to help students of all levels with honing their writing skills and/or providing proofreading and editing assistance. [No, I will not write your paper for you.] I can help you make your written work product the best it can be.

I look forward to working with you.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Law

I can advise on basic legal concepts such as torts, contracts, criminal law and procedure, employment law, etc. I offer guidance on business and civil law subjects as well as guidance on careers in the legal field.

Proofreading

My proofreading tutoring involves teaching how to review the written work-product for typographical and grammatical errors, as well as for organization and continuity.

Writing

I tutor in assisting with written work-product, including organization, logic, formatting, citation, grammar and proofing. This does not include underlying research, but I will talk to you about and assist you with developing your subject, developing an outline, formulating a theme or hypothesis, and setting forth an analysis.
