I began my serious study of the Bible as a high school student. I enrolled in a local Bible college as a high school student taking evening classes in Old and New Covenant books as well as ethics and ministry. I took outside courses in Bible while still applying myself to a humanities and math and science high school magnet program. I was graduated from my high school with highest honors and served two years as student body president and member of our community council. I also lettered in football, track and wrestling and received the principals award my senior year. I believe study of scripture helps you to be better prepared in all aspects of life and work. As Joshua said when we meditate on God’s Word day and night we will find good success.
In my senior year in high school I sensed a calling to the ministry and bypassed a prospective appointment to the USNA to attend a major Christian university to further study and prepare for ministry. I earned an undergraduate degree in Bible and a Masters in Theology. I am also continuing to study while pursuing a doctorate in Theology. I have been an ordained minister in an evangelical denomination since 1988 and consistently and faithfully taught Bible in local churches and a well known Christian school.
I am a passionate student of scripture in my personal life and I am constantly reading and learning outside of my professional life. I would be privileged to assist you in digging deeper in the treasure trove of God’s Word and helping you to also experience the awesomeness of God’s Word in your personal or professional life. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've been an ordained minister since 1988 in an evangelical denomination. I have a Masters degree in Pastoral theology and bachelors degree in Bible with minor in Greek. I have pastored churches in Atlanta, Maryland, and New Hampshire as well as taught Bible in a Christian school.
