My name is Dana.
I am a BA graduate in English Language and Literature, certified in TESOL by Seattle University College of Education, Seattle, WA, currently teaching adult ESL classes in Atlanta, GA.
My background includes designing lesson plans that suit all levels of learners, from beginners to advanced students. I have been teaching English for more than fifteen years, both in the U.S. and in my country. My experience relates to a strong understanding of English grammar, writing, reading comprehension, speaking, and punctuation. I teach all English language skills with a flexible adapted instruction to a large range of students' needs and pathways.
I assess students of different learning levels, using a variety of assessment techniques, then direct them toward the right method of study. I state clearly the objectives of the lesson, then, demonstrate, explain, exemplify, correct the pronunciation and grammar, and review the taught material by using enjoyable and useful pedagogical methods.
It would also be a pleasure to me to tutor any level of the Romanian language. Yes, it is my native tongue.
I find time to enjoy hobbies such as: yoga, reading, and philosophy. Hi!

The classes with Dana were very interesting and helpful. We covered irregular plurals, auxiliary verbs, modal verbs and simple tenses. Her explications helped to me to understand English grammar with solid concepts. She adapted her pace to my level of English so that I didn't miss anything while continuing to work hard.
for Dano O, first lesson on Romanian was effective, spend time on alphabet and numbers and greetings text. looking forward to the next session.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
