A life-saver!

I was ready to drop out of grad school on week 2 of my Research Methods class when I found Chris on Wyzant, but lo and behold — I’ve just submitted my final paper less than 24 hours ago and am still in disbelief that I’ve actually finished the course! Chris had the patience of an angel in teaching me everything I had to learn about quantitative and qualitative research like how I needed to be taught: detailed, visually, and as I remember asking him to do it...like I was a 10-year old! 🤣 But that’s not all — he was also very generous with his guidance in every step I had to take in writing my papers: from brainstorming to organizing to drafting to (multiple!) editing to polishing. He was approachable, calm, encouraging, and most importantly, cared that I pass my RM course. I couldn’t have gone through these last few weeks without Chris. He deserves more than 5 stars on this review; I’d definitely work with him again and highly recommend him as a tutor!

A great tutor, really.

Chris is a great tutor. He is really helpful and super calm which makes stressful stats situations easier to deal with. Obviously he knows what he is talking about (he is a total expert), but one of the best things about Chris is the fact that you can ask him anything stats-related without judgement. He is not an academic elitist and he never makes you feel stupid, uncomfortable, embarrassed, etc. Chris explains things thoroughly when you are confused, but also allows you to reach the answer yourself when you are not. I really enjoyed the experience working with him. I thought stats tutoring would be harrowing, terrible for my self-esteem, stressful, impossible, etc., but the opposite was true. At one point I even said to him that I wished he had been my stats professor or a member of my committee. Ironically, if he had been either I would not have been in need of his tutoring services. He really is a great tutor and I recommend him to everyone and anyone. Thanks Chris!

Excellent tutor!

Chris is great at explaining statistics and SPSS. He gives great explanations of complex structures with great details and also very patient. I also needed explanations of concepts and clarifications on application of the concepts. He was great with this. Although I have only worked with him once so far, I plan to use him again for SPSS and statistics as I still need help in this area. He has a great expertise in this subject matter and is a great resource. He is patient, thorough and very detailed in his explanations of the topic and concepts which proved to be very helpful. Finding Chris has been a great asset!! I am actually not dreading completing my homework anymore now that I have someone to ask specific questions to and to get feedback from. He's great!

An Awesome Tutor

Chris, YES, you are a fantastic statistics tutor. Like many I was skeptical using an online tutoring website, a statistics tutor found via Google, residing 1000s of miles away. I questioned myself - Is the person real? are they as good as they claim, will they help me to learn what I need to learn in a simple and concise manner and more importantly will I be victim to online fraud? I can assure you my learning experience with Chris was brilliant. Yes, he is real, calm, patient and full of practical examples to break down statistics into bite size chunks. No, he does not do your assignments for you. But he makes it so simple to understand, that you can write your assignments in a fraction of the time, and yes it is probably fraudulent that he only charges $50.00 per hour. In my opinion, it should be a lot more. Thanks Chris.
