Having received my Associate in Applied Science Degree in Commercial Graphics from Randolph Community College in Asheboro, N.C.. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1989, attended The Art Institute of Atlanta, obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Illustration. I also attended Atlanta Area Technical College with a concentration in Design & Media Production Technology, while there I was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. I have also received specialized training from Clayton State University, Film and Digital Media Center (Continuing Education Department) as a Digital Film Technician. Other certifications include OSHA (General Industry Safety and Health) and Grumbacher, Art Instruction Certification in Acrylic Painting and Drawing. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Photoshop is a photo retouching program. It is a very powerful program. It can be used for many things from graphic design to webdesign. I have about 7 years of experience with this program.
I have worked as a desktop publisher for years, I have been in the roll of Desktop publisher on several occasions at the GA Dept. of Labor were I typeset several publications. I was also the graphic artist for a community news paper called "Issues Today".
