Tutoring is in my DNA. At age 16 I coached my fellow students in history, math, and theater. My friends and I won the state History Fair and participated in the national competition in Washington DC. Awarded an acting scholarship to three different universities. Attended BYU where I worked as a statistics teaching assistant while studying economics. Became a mentor/tutor to 160 nontraditional students who were completing a statistics course online. Finished undergrad as the Assistant for Teaching Assistant Development for the entire campus.
After undergrad I successfully taught GMAT courses for the next 3 years. Helped individuals with the math sections of the GRE, SAT, and ACT. Awarded a full tuition scholarship for graduate work in Business Administration at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. My graduate school peers gave me the Mason Gold Standard Award which is a recognition of one who unselfishly contributes to the academic achievement of others through mentoring. Graduated with a focus in Finance and passed both the CFA Level 1 exam and the Series 65 exam.
I've helped individuals get into Chicago, UPenn, Duke, UVA, NYU, Emory, Georgia Tech, etc. I've also assisted MBAs from IMD, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, etc. I love helping students overcome their stumbling blocks and I look forward to helping you overcome yours in the coming months!

Great tutor! You will learn and you will understand with Jeff!
Jeff has helped me with my Accounting and Finance courses throughout my Executive MBA program. He is patient and very knowledgeable about a wide range of subjects. I was going back to school after a long time, but Jeff helped prime me to get back into the program. And he helped me again to make sense of all of the math throughout the program. He is a great tutor. Worth every penny!Mollie, 59 lessons with Jeff

Patient and knowledgeable.
We went over my practice test report and came up with areas to work on. HW was assigned and an initial plan was laid out. Overall this was a very good start. A future lesson was also planned and we shall see how it goes!Shoumit, 6 lessons with Jeff

Jeff is extremely helpful, patient, and brilliant! He was my prayer answered for a tutor who would really be able to help me. As a grad student, it is pretty difficult to find a tutor and Jeff knew exactly what to do with the issues I was having. I will be scheduling with him for all of my future tutoring needs. Cost Analysis Lesson
We worked on visualizing concepts in the form of graphs involving marginal cost, total cost and fixed cost. Overall, the lesson went very well and I learned more than I did in class.Wesley, 35 lessons with Jeff

Jeff is highly effective at breaking down strategies for GMAT studying. He has been very helpful in setting up a lesson plan to walk through all test fundamentals necessary for the exam. I would strongly recommend him to other students!Jack, 2 lessons with Jeff
Great and Patient tutor!
I could NOT have passed my International Economics class as an art major without him. Like clockwork, we'd set up weekly sessions to go over all the material in class, including homework. Jeff was supremely patient, and he helped fortify my understanding of the content just by looking at my class notes; he didn't even need to look at a textbook, and he rarely looked up other materials to brush up on his own knowledge before teaching it back to me. With my less than stellar math background, he made a 300-level economics class much more manageable than what I could've done alone. It also doesn't hurt that I got an "A-" in the class, beating out actual econ and finance majors :) Thanks for your patience, Jeff! It was great working with you, and I hope you'll have me again if I ever need more help in the future.Brent, 14 lessons with Jeff
