I have nineteen (19) years' experience as a professional French and English teacher. During this period, I have taught various aspects of the two languages namely grammar, oral and written communication, French culture and civilization, French teaching methodology, business French, and translation from French into English. In English, I teach reading, comprehension, grammar, language arts, and writing.
My tutoring method is student centered. Any person who wants to learn French, English, and language arts has a purpose for doing so. That purpose therefore plays an important role in determining the focus and the content of the tutoring. The teaching and learning materials are books, CDs, DVDs, and web-based resources such as wikis, avatars, blogs, and relevant websites.

Depending on the focus and the level of the tutoring, it will be decided whether the greater part of the exercises should be written or oral. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
