I was a 2014 National Merit Scholarship Competition finalist and scholarship winner. During High-School I took several AP courses: I received 5s on the English Literature and Composition, US History, and European History exams, a 4 on the Calculus AB Exam, and a 3 on Government and received the AP Scholar with Distinction award for my success.

I made a 34 on the Science section of the ACT, I know how to teach ACT Science, not general science. This section of the ACT is not a test of scientific knowledge, but assorted reasoning and chart comprehension skills. I am well versed in those skills and will be able to instruct students on how to use these skills and greatly improve their ACT Science scores. I have noticed that the Science section of the ACT is the section where most students will receive their lowest score, but I have also found that scores in the Science section are the easiest to improve with a knowledgeable tutor.

On the ACT I received a 35 on the Reading Comprehension section. My vocabulary scores on the PSAT were enough to qualify as a National Merit Finalist (accepted scholarship from Auburn University which required that I drop out of the competition before the final selection of winners), and my scores on the SAT Critical Reading and Writing sections were high enough to qualify as both a finalist and winner in the National Merit Scholarship Program. My writing and proofreading skills are fine-tuned from voluminous amounts of writing, both professional and creative.

My hours are extremely flexible at the moment, but this could change drastically in the near future so please contact me as soon as possible in order to schedule sessions at the most optimal time.

With the LSAT in flux, you need a tutor who is aware of the changes in the test. Tutors who took the test years ago are not prepared for the LSAT of today. I offer affordable tutoring informed by my own experience with the test, a test I was taking myself as recently as September this year. I have a score that places me at the 99%, and in the median for every law school in the country, even Harvard, Stanford, and Yale, and I have two years of experience as a subject tutor at Auburn University. I am an excellent and affordable choice for those looking to study for the LSAT.

Great start

In spite of some initial technical difficulties and a power-outage, the lesson seemed to go quite well. Mitch was able to explain some strategies for the science section of the ACT, as well as some time management tips. Even though this was the first time she had ever tutored online and was a bit unsure at first, my daughter was very pleased with her session.
