My name is Dylan B. I graduated from Georgia Tech in May, 2015 with B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I have a thorough understanding of various math and science subjects as well as English grammar and writing. I understand that math and science are challenging subjects, and I have a passion for helping students understand them - not only so they can get the grade, but also so they are better equipped for their future in the subjects. I took and made A's in several subjects at Georgia Tech, including Calculus I, II, and III, differential equations, physics I and II, and several engineering specific classes.

I have a passion for math and science and how it relates to the world around us. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than seeing the look on students' faces when the material finally clicks and they truly understand it. I have tutored fellow students at Georgia Tech for four semesters, so I have a lot of experience in tutoring the most difficult of subjects, as well as getting to know the student and explaining things in the best way for them to understand it.

Before I was able to become a certified tutor at Tech, I had to take and pass a class about tutoring. Each week, we analyzed our experiences tutoring that week and discussed ways to help the students more effectively. We were also taught to analyze students' learning styles (as well as our own) so we could shape our sessions around these styles.

Education is one of the most important and time-consuming aspects of a young person's life. The lessons learned, both school related and real-world related, will provide a foundation for life, so it is important to me to help students' succeed.

I am extremely confident in my abilities as a tutor, and it is my hope that after reading this you will be too. I look forward to hearing from you.

Drums

I have played the drums for 6 years. I have played with several guitarists, one of whom has since joined a band that plays metal, and one of whom has released a country EP. I played several songs with the latter throughout the summer, and I am extremely comfortable with many genres, including rock, country, jazz, and metal.

Knowledgable patient tutor

Dylan has a great teaching style. He has the ability to distill math and physics concepts to make sense of the formulas.

Great Tutor!

Dylan has been a great Calculus/Physics tutor at the college level. I would highly recommend him as a tutor, as well as for any career opportunities.

Very patient. Makes physics easy to understand.

My daughter just completed her first tutoring session with Dylan. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and engaging. He arrived to the session early and was well prepared. My daughter described Dylan as very patient and nice. She said that he explains physics in a way that makes it easy to understand. If she didn't get a concept, she said he took the time to go over it again and answer all of her questions. He personalized the experience and made my daughter feel at ease. She's looking forward to the next lesson.
