Hi everyone! I'm Gabby. I recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biological Sciences and Biology minor. In high school, I graduated in the top 7% percent of my graduating class and scored in the 90th percentile for the SAT (Total score 1260 and Math 640). My ACT scores were also exceptional, with a math score almost 25% higher than the national average. I have received A's in all of my math classes, including AP Calculus BC, Biostatistics, Geometry, and Abstract Algebra. I discovered very early on in my educational career the key to excelling on diagnostic tests, summative assessments, and standardized tests. As a tutor, I work directly with students on homework, provide them with helpful resources according to their needs, and make review notes following lessons.

I have also excelled in 6+ years of formal Spanish courses including AP Spanish, Spanish Cultural Dialogues, and Spanish Literature. Based on my high score on my university's foreign language placement test, I exempted all college-level elementary and intermediate Spanish courses. With years of formal instruction and private tutoring, I have adapted my own method of learning and retaining the Spanish language. My Spanish lessons delve into the grammar, language, culture, and literature of the language to help students gain a better understanding of Spanish texts and phonetics. Among the activities included are spatial repetition of vocabulary, cultural immersion, conversational practice, and comprehensible input. With these methods, I have been able to reach a level of conversational fluency that has helped me effectively communicate with native Spanish speakers in my community and abroad!

I have experience working for highly regarded tutoring organizations, student-led tutoring groups, and a university-based testing prep company.
