As a native of West Palm, I went to Bak and Dreyfoos and have experience navigating auditions, AP classes, standardized testing, and the college application process.
I tutored all throughout high-school and specialize in Reading, Writing, Social Studies, History, Human Geography, Music, Vocal Coaching, College Application help, and Spanish. I have a love for teaching and mentoring students and I'm very excited to work with you!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A in Anthropology. While there I focused on Biological Anthropology specifically pertaining to Forensics, Osteology, Primate Evolution and Ecology, and Archaeology. I did a research project that I presented my senior year on the cranial morphology and pathology of two Peruvian skulls that I was able to identify as Pre-Columbian. During my four years, I also took multiple courses in Cultural Anthropology.

As a recent college grad, I am familiar with the college application process. When I applied in 2011-12, I was accepted to nine schools including Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, Duke, Vanderbilt, UF, and UM. I received full scholarships from all of them and a fellowship at Cornell. Ultimately I chose Dartmouth, but I am still very proud of my ability to navigate the college application process. I started researching college applications early on and became familiar with what colleges wanted to see on applications and which classes I should be taking. I also spent a considerable amount of time reading personal essays and refining my ability to write. I am confident that I could help any high-schooler with the applications process.
I started playing music at a very young age and subsequently went to an Arts Magnet school for middle and high school as a Vocal major. Later, I went on to graduate with a minor in Music from Dartmouth. I tutored elementary aged children for 4 years and helped them prepare for musical auditions, specifically drilling ear-training, sight-singing, and music theory. I also helped young vocalists work on audition pieces that I selected and taught to them.
