There he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience, and a Minor in Spanish. He also spent time abroad at Universidad de Barçelona where he studied International Business and Economics. I've noticed a few consistent factors that continuously make for successful and great tutor which has had a major impact on my approach to tutoring. Personal relationships are crucial to student success, the more connected a student feels to his or her tutor, the more the tutor creates trust and respect, essential ingredients for students to learn well. When a tutor listens and spends time building a relationship with his or her student, that tutor can personalize the learning, incorporate connections to the student's interests, teach to the student's strengths, and help the student overcome their weaknesses. My ability to recognize each student's specific needs, and being adaptable and flexible to them is what makes me a great tutor.

In addition to tutoring, Rob works at a hedge fund where he specializes in algorithmic and volatility trading of equities. Robert’s wide range of education and experience gives him the ability to tutor all major core subjects and work with students of all ages, up to and including the college level.
