I have been an English and reading teacher for the last 35 years in Palm Beach County. Having a life long love of literature, reading, theater and film, teaching was the ideal career choice for me. I have a genuine bond with my students that is formed each school year. It gives me great pleasure to help my students succeed in their classes.
I particularly love tutoring because it is on a one to one basis. My greatest achievement is always to help my students do their best and reach that aha moment when everything becomes clear to them.
I have an extensive background of knowledge that makes me a successful teacher. I have an excellent success rate of students who have improved their grades and raised their test scores after working on a one to one basis with me.
Please contact me if you want to have an enjoyable, relaxed lesson with an experienced teacher. Not only will I keep you smiling, but you will learn at the same time. My former students continue to stay in touch with me years after working with me. I will make it easy and pain free! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
