My love of teaching comes from a lifelong love of working with children. I specialize in teaching Spanish to preschoolers, kindergarten students, and elementary students.
I graduated in 1986 from Universidad Tecnica de Machala with a Bachelor of Science degree. I have completed a certification in Florida Child Care Professional Credential, and have also taken continuing courses in Early Childhood and Developmental Curriculum.
I have been working with young children since I was in college: after school programs, youth groups, etc.. After graduating from college I worked at a school in Machala, Ecuador, teaching lower grade and elementary courses. Since coming to West Palm Beach, Florida, I have taught Spanish for 14 years at different preschools and elementary schools, and after schoolers. Over the last 5 years I have taught to 3 years old and preschool students at a Child Care Center.
I am originally from Machala, Ecuador. I have been living in West Palm Beach, Florida since 1996. I am very close with my family. I live with my husband, daughter, and mother. In my free time, I enjoy going for a walk, exercising, yoga, reading, and going to the movies. . I love the outdoors, and traveling.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
