Greetings,
My name is Ryan and I am currently employed by The King's Academy as a substitute teacher. I am an entomologist, an avid reader, and occasionally an artist and a writer. My experience and qualification consists of the following: I have spent 4 years in college majoring in entomology, accompanied by a plethora of internships and volunteer positions ranging from rearing atala butterflies to assisting with the rearrangement of the entomology department's teaching collection; this was proceeded by 16 years of enthusiastically catching, collecting drawing and photographing insects.
In addition to possessing the passions of a mad 19th century British naturalist, I also enjoy writing. The book I currently am working on will either be the next great literary epoch or will forever be that one side project I never quite completed. Either way I know my way around the written word well enough to convey my ideas, keep my readers entertained, and how to "neutralize" overly aggressive syntax.
The fuel of this literary fire has been the reading of many books. As such I believe I am capable of guiding persons through different literary styles, interpretations, and generally peeling away the crusty rind of assignment based reading to reveal either the story's sweet, life-giving nectar or the rotten, decayed carcass which for some strange reason educators still feel compelled to force-feed students.
