In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I worked with students from Elementary, Middle School, High School and Adult Education. I worked with ESOL (English as a Second Language)students in building their English fluency and comprehension. Instruction included working with students in small groups and/or one to one to build English fluency in all areas of the curriculum. I am good at motivating students to understand English as a Second Language.
I was born in Venezuela where salsa is part of the culture. I started dancing when I was four (4) years old at family gathering. I kept dancing salsa through the years. I am qualified to teach somebody interested in learning how to salsa. I like to go to the night clubs occasionally to dance since it is my passion.
