About Jennifer

As a teacher and tutor, it is my job to translate difficult ideas into a clear language that people can understand. This is my 16th year teaching as a profession and I have tutored students in math and science classes since 1995. I have a contagious enthusiasm which I enjoy sharing with students and colleagues alike.

I look forward to helping you to improve your understanding and earn higher scores. I hope to hear form you soon!

I have a mastery of the material, enthusiasm, years of teaching experience teaching Chemistry which applies most math concepts on a regular basis.

I have a Master's degree in Synthetic Inorganic Chemistry which I have used to teach for 17 years. My education and expertise in the field of synthetic chemistry makes me a superior teacher to those who have only education degrees. There is no substitute for the depth of knowledge gained from applied research and decades in the lab.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have nine years of teaching AP, Honors and Introductory Chemistry in high schools and eight more teaching at the college level.

I can't not express how wonderful Jennifer is. She brings to the table years of teaching chemistry and now experience in the corporate sector.
