Hello! I am an enthusiastic, committed piano teacher in the Tampa Bay area. I hold my B.A. in Music from Florida College, and I am classically trained in piano performance and music theory. I have been playing piano for sixteen years and have been teaching since 2012. Besides my privately scheduled lessons in students' homes, I have experience teaching in four music stores in Tampa Bay.
My students range in age from 4 to adult. I am committed to musical excellence, and I seek to foster both excitement and personal discipline in my students. I incorporate music theory, scales and chords, and other musical building blocks into my students' lessons. I am happy to teach any musical genre that my students prefer! I teach in students' homes, which is a very convenient option for families with busy schedules. Sign up with me today, and we can explore the fun world of music together!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
