Hello avid students! I am a 4th grade teacher and have taught at the elementary level for a total of nine years (two years in 2nd grade, five years in 4th grade and two years in 5th). During my time at University of South Florida I tutored at the Family and Research Support Center for Kindergarten to Eighth grade for two years. I've acquired a wide variety of teaching methods for students from all different backgrounds, therefore I welcome any student! Personally, I enjoy preparing a student's mind for success, thus tutoring in an individualized setting will work best!

The first session will be an introduction and consultation of the student's strengths and areas of improvement and we'll discuss ways for the student to be successful. I hope to hear from you to help any student succeed.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Kenneth's ability to connect with my son right from the beginning, which is difficult for most, made it easy to choose him. He was very observant and noticed Pokémon is my son's world. Furthermore, Kenneth was able to speak my son's language. However, he did not pressure him to talk right away and gave my son the opportunity to speak when he was comfortable. This move opened the door for the rest of the session. Also, Kenneth is a professional. He assessed my son's strengths and weaknesses. During the meeting he reviewed all the documents I brought. And, he made me feel more at ease with the worries I have about my son. Kenneth has is a really talented young man!

Very Patient and Helpful Tutor

Kenneth is very patient and knowledgeable with our two boys. He was able to assist both of them with their lesson and helped them when they made mistakes in a very positive and patient way. We look forward to our future sessions with him. Highly recommend!

Great session as always!

Kenneth is a great tutor. He explains everything to my son clearly with examples that a kid can relate to. Working on essay writing with Kenneth has really helped my son get the steps down.

Great first session

Kenneth portrayed professionalism and passion for identifying what skills my child has and where she needs attention. I was put to ease as he knows what a child entering 3rd grade will be expected to know and what concepts they will be expanding on. It was a great first session. My child was not happy to be getting a tutor - after the first session -she said she’s actually looking forward to the next time. Which is a win win. Thank you, Kenneth!

Kenneth was effective, patient, and kind while helping our 3rd grade son

Kenneth was able to make each session fun. My son actually looked forward to working with him. His academic esteem improved after working with Kenneth. As a parent, Kenneth was easy to work with and very flexible. He was always well prepared for any topic we asked him to focus on with our child. I highly recommend Kenneth to anyone looking for a tutor able to tackle many subjects. He makes learning fun!

Extremely patient and helpful!

Kenneth helped my seven-year-old who has opportunities understanding Math. Kenneth was patient, kind, and used techniques my son was able to understand. I'm looking forward to future lessons and watching my son become more confident and skilled in Math! :-)
