I am a senior attending FSU planning to receive a BS in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Psychology at the end of the Spring semester (May 2018). I plan on continuing my academic career at Florida State to eventually obtain my PhD in Mathematics, the same subject I have come to enjoy so much. Throughout middle and early high school I always took advanced classes (admittedly against my will at first) and discovered an interest in math and science. Toward the end of high school, I received superior tutoring in SAT Prep, Mathematics, and MLA format Writing resulting in my long-awaited college acceptance and my new-found passion for learning and teaching.

Over the years I have obtained an extensive education in the domain of Mathematics. I enrolled in multiple college level courses in high school (i.e; Statistics & Probability, Calculus, Trigonometry, etc.) after completing Algebra 2 as a sophomore. I graduated Cum Laude and scored a 700 on the math portion of the SAT, allowing me to test out of College Algebra at Florida State. During high school, I tutored friends and classmates in courses including Geometry and Algebra 2. Currently I work as both a private tutor at Flagler College (Tallahassee) as an Academic Coach for the FTCE General Knowledge Exam. I am currently finishing up the last of my major courses which will grant my eligibility to enroll in graduate school in May of this year.

Apart from school I enjoy playing a variety of sports and getting involved on campus. I have joined multiple IMs here at FSU including volleyball, flag football, kickball and (most importantly) dodgeball in which my team and I are the proud runner-up Champions of FSU! I also have a dog named Douglas who I enjoy taking on walks around Cascades Park every day.

I have been teaching math to friends and clients for as long as I have been learning it myself, and have found that teaching something is by far the best way to learn it. With each person I tutor I strive to not only explain the concept, but to also enable the abili
