I am an awarding-winning Engineer, Adjunct Professor and K-12 Mathematics Educator/ESE Paraprofessional seeking to assist students of all ages and learning levels achieve their academic goals. I hold several degrees which include an Associate of Arts in Business, BS Electrical Engineering, Master of Business Administration, Master of Higher Education Leadership and Administration, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Organization and Management with a specialty in Leadership. Additionally, I hold a temporary teaching certificate in Mathematics (Grades 5-9 and 6-12).

As an educator/tutor, it is my personal goal to assist students with applying theory to real world events. I impress upon the students that education is a life-long tool that once achieved can never be lost. I have been tutoring students at all levels for 29+ years and find it both challenging and rewarding. My teaching and tutoring experience includes Program Executive Director (curriculum development, lesson planning, lecturer, tutor, planner/coordinator, etc.), Business Consultant (tutoring at all levels), Pre-College Program Leader and mathematics educator, Mathematics educator (K - 12) for Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Mathematics for College Readiness, as well as Adjunct College Professor (Pre-Calculus and Statistics) and tutor (Pre-Calculus, Statistics, College Algebra/Trigonometry, and Accounting). The first order of business is to determine the learning style of the student (i.e. visual learner, hands-on, etc.) and then scaffold the lessons and/or "chunk" the problems so that the student is able to grasp the concepts being presented. I am passionate about cross-discipline tutoring and offer my students a viewpoint not often seen in the learning environment. We will achieve your math goals as one unit. I look forward to working with you in the near future.
