I am an artist and have been using Macintosh computers since the early 1990's and am very familiar and confident with the platform. I use the computer all the time for my artwork, organizing my work and business, for my web site and maintenance of the web site. I use Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and others and do research on the web. Once one understands the platform and the structure of software on it, one can solve most challenges and "learn how to learn" on it.
