As long as I can remember, I've always had a lifelong passion for Drawing and Painting. I began my artistic career at the age of eight when my Mom enrolled me in Adult painting classes and then hired professional artists to tutor me. I always longed to have that art teacher that pushed, inspired and encouraged me to do my best.
I have exhibited in galleries in both Santa Fe and Denver, was a Muralist and most recently taught Art in Minnesota for grades K through 8. Teaching Art to young minds has been my most fulfilling and rewarding life path so far.

Thank you so much, Reverend. Your daughter is a talented young artist. It was my pleasure teaching her. I hope that you are enjoying your summer!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I was a licensed Art teacher in Minnesota for 6 years and taught at two charter schools in Bloomington, MN. During my six years, I was required to tutor students with special needs in both Reading and Math. From 2006 to 2010, I worked predominantly with grades K through 5. From 2011 to 2013, I taught two study halls in addition to my Art classes, where I tutored Special Education students in all subjects ranging from English, Social Studies, Math, and Reading. This was for a Prep School, which is grades 6-8.
