I am a native of Louisiana but lived for several decades in Iowa. I moved to Florida 2 years ago to help out my family. Currently I am a costumed historical guide at Fort Menendez and the Old Florida Museum. I make my own costumes and do school tours and general public tours of the Timucaua village, Spanish colonial fort and pioneer Florida Cracker schoolhouse. It's loads of fun! I have taught art, history, English, English composition and photography at community/technical colleges in Iowa and Louisiana. I have tutored students in beginning ballet, art and mentored a young man with autism with his job skills. I enjoy watching my students succeed.
