With more than twenty-five years' experience in American Sign Language, and ten years' experience with special needs students, I am well qualified to establish a solid, healthy one-on-one relationship with any student needing extra attention or a specific program to reach a particular goal. I have worked with both adults and adolescents in the deaf communities of Pinellas County, San Diego County, and metropolitan Denver. I am a volunteer with the Challenger League, and also provide weekly ASL lessons through the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative. I recently returned to school and am working on my masters' in education. I would be honored to be a part of your team and assist a person in need of some special instruction and guidance.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
