I have been tutoring since January of 2010, hold a Bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education from USF, and I have taught for 5 years in both public and private schools teaching math and science. I started tutoring in high school through the Math Club, and have tutored at the HCC campuses of Southshore, Brandon, and Plant City; as well as tutoring for USF and Knowledge Points. I have an amazing wife Amanda and a beautiful daughter Elsie. I am a devout Christian, and I believe working hard to help students achieve their goals is a command (1 Cor. 10:31, Col. 3:23), not just a suggestion.

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I teach all the required standards within the Common Core State Standards. They have algebra (both 1 & 2) broken down into a few categories, and I am comfortable with all of them.
Algebra 2,

Algebra 2

Algebra II and College Algebra are fairly similar, and I teach both more often that almost any subject (next to Geometry perhaps). I have been teaching this subject for over five years now, and have the topics down to a science. There is a clean progression from topic to topic when Algebra II is taught correctly, and with my experience the class can be made to be enjoyable and fully understandable.
Calculus,

Calculus

I took Calculus 2 and 3 my freshman year of college, and have since put them to practice in tutoring locations such as the Brandon HCC and the University of South Florida. I have a copy of a text which encompasses all three of the Calculus classes- differential, integral, and multi-variable. I also stay up to date on topics in Calculus using websites.
Geometry,

Geometry

I teach all the required subjects within the Common Core State Standards. They have Geometry broken down into a few categories, and I am comfortable with all of them.
Precalculus,

Precalculus

In each of the sub-fields of Pre-Calculus (Conic Sections, Sequences and Series, Probability and Combinatorics, Complex Numbers, Hyperbolic Functions, and limits) I have had experience tutoring over the last 7 years. I have actively tutored this field of Mathematics for about 4 years. In the last 3 years, I have tutored this field in addition to my classes in an after school tutoring program.
SAT Math,

SAT Math

Guaranteed to get at least half the difference from your last score in improvement (for example, a 700 into (at least) a 750 or a 600 into (at least) a 700). I've been working with students wanting to increase their Math SAT score for years now, and I have a proven method that gets results. As a bonus, current students can have free access to my online course (a $50 value) as part of our process.

Tutoring for 10 years, including Trig (and other related subjects). Trig really does come down to "knowing the tricks" as there are a lot of things to learn in a short amount of time. I teach such subjects in Trigonometry as (but not limited to): --Ratios and Similarity --Trigonometric Functions and their Reciprocals --Degrees and Radians --The Unit Circle --Graphing Trigonometric Functions --Trigonometric Identities --Parametric and Polar Equations --Conic Sections

Great Math Tutor

Kyle is a great math teacher. We hired him for both SAT prep and for regular math lessons for about two years, and he was excellent for both. Very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He also nailed the expected window of test results he provided, so he knows what he is doing! I couldn't recommend him more.

Kyle is one of the best Math tutors you will ever find in your life!

Kyle has tutored my twin girls for the past 7-8 months in pre-calc and SAT prep. He is patient, devoted and an amazing teacher! I wish all high school students had him. Thank you for all you do!

Great experience

Kyle tutored my senior daughter in AP Calculus BC. He was prompt and made her feel comfortable enough for her to schedule a second lesson which doesn’t usually happen. He knew the material and what he didn’t know, he worked with my daughter and they worked it out together. We will definitely hire him again! Thank you!

Knowledgeable tutor

Kyle helped me with Calculus 2. He made difficult concepts seem easy and provided tips and tricks to solve a problem. Anyone who needs help in math should get Kyle as a tutor. He makes sure that you will understand the concept and the reasoning behind solving the problem.

Son went up 2 letter grades

Kyle is very patient with our son and Jayden enjoys learning from him. Our son went up 2 letter grades since tutoring with him. We plan on using him for the rest of the school year.

Amazing

Kyle truly is the best tutor that I've ever had! I was struggling so hard in Calculus, yet he helped walk me through every problem so that I was able to understand what I was doing. I went from failing the class to passing, and I couldn't be more grateful or recommend him enough!
