Dr. Torre’s divine purpose in life is to motivate and empower young adults, college students, and women. Her targeted audience is at risk, underrepresented, low income, academically challenged, diverse and disadvantaged students, their parents, and young women populations. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, from a similar type of background and community she has made her life’s mission to service, she was written off as another hyperactive, un-teachable, time-consuming, and unproductive statistic. Last but not least, labeled as unable to be college educated. Dr. Torre went on to earn the following degrees: BA in Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism (Fontbonne University), MA in Business Management (Webster University), MS in Human Resource Management (Troy State University), a Doctorate in Theology and Spiritual Counseling (The College of Metaphysical Studies) and a Certified Life Coach (Life Coach School of Orange County).
I love helping students achieve what they believe is the unachievable. With my many years of personal and professional experience I will be able to guide students along their Academic/ Collegiate Journey. As a researcher specialist, I am able to locate vast amounts of required resources to ensure a successful journey for each student assigned to me. I will teach your students all the skills and resources they need to be successful not just today but tomorrow and throughout their lives. I will help them transition from being a teen to becoming a young adults heading for full independent membership into the "Honor Society of Life."

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Masters in Human Resource Management. I have taught Career Development Classes for over 15 years including resume writing, interviewing skills, job searches, networking, anything career related.
Having worked in the Higher Education arena for over 10 years, specializing in student services, I was responsible for guiding and supporting academic success and endeavors for high school and college age students. I have presented an array of student and parent workshops on Collegiate Preparation Counseling. Including college searches, applying to college and financial aid, academic counseling and college road mapping.
My BA is in Communications/ Public Relations and Journalism. I have been a motivational speaker for over 20 years. I present on an array of topics mainly to parents, teens, and young adults. I specialize in speaking one language that translates to all learning styles. I have a proven track record of success specializing in verbal and nonverbal communications including writing skills.
