Isaiah - Expert Tutor in Mathematics and Accounting for over 10 years.
The most successful method to teaching and tutoring which I have used successfully during the past 10 years is the conceptual approach. This approach is very interactive.
The concepts underlying the problem are set out starting from the basic and working systematically through each whilst providing illustrations as to their application. Examples are given for the student to work out.
Once all the concepts are fully explained and understood, the student is asked to work out the problem in its entirety. Concepts that are not fully understood are explained over again.
An interactive approach allows for a two way dialogue in which the student is prompted to respond to the questions asked. Once a topic is fully understood related questions are given to the student for him/her to work. Isaiah - Expert Tutor in Mathematics and Accounting for over 10 years.

Isaiah D. is a great tutor who helped me achieve my goal. I took Accounting 1 and did not fully comprehend it. He helped me with Accounting 2 and I easily got an A. Scheduling a session is very easy with him because he is very flexible to work with your schedule. Isaiah is always right on time and very patient. His teaching/tutoring helped me complete a future Managerial Accounting class with an A. I would recommend him to everybody that needs some help to succeed in accounting.
We couldn't be happier with this tutor, he is patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. My son has advanced and feels more confident since starting with Isaiah. His grades have improved and will be continuing his lessons with this tutor to get ahead. I highly recommend him for your student who is having any problems in math!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
