I have always loved the profession of teaching. This has been reflected in teaching of Upward Bound students, and in teaching nursing assistants. I am a registered nurse for over twenty years, and I love the field of nursing. Many, who I have worked with, view me as a teacher, mentor, and role model.
I consider myself a high performance achiever. When in undergraduate school, I was honored by being on the Dean's list for three semesters and graduating within the top 20% of the class. In furthering my education, I became a Legal Nurse Consultant, which I found interestingly rewarding. Lastly, I recently received by Masters in Nursing Education, graduating within the top 15% of the class. With the knowledge obtained from classroom, as well as life experience, I have a lot to offer those willing to learn.
