“**Knowledgeable and very understanding!!**”

I recently graduated with dual majors in Engineering Physics and Computational Mathematics. I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Engineering Physics. During my undergraduate career, I tutored frequently in mathematics, physics and coding courses. I've tutored from the High School level through advanced college courses. I was a Teaching

James is approved to conduct lessons through Wyzant Online. Wyzant Online allows students and tutors to work remotely via video, audio, and collaborative whiteboard tools. For more information about how online tutoring works, check out Wyzant Online.

He helped my daughter learn algebra 1 better by showing her how to visualize her equations and better understand them. On time for the lesson and well mannered as well as courteous. He took the time to relate to her misunderstandings to help her better see a way of correcting them.

James will ask you questions and help YOU reason out the material. He won't just do the problems for you. Be prepared to work hard and learn actively! I felt I had a much more thorough understanding of the material after our session. He is also great with the online interface, if you're looking for online tutoring!

James was incredible with my son who was struggling for his final in AP Physics! He was able to speak the language of Physics and a teenager at the same time. I would highly recommend him for any student of any age in math.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

As a graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with degrees in Computational Mathematics and Engineering Physics, I have appropriate course work in differential equations. I have tutored for the past two years at the university. As well as able to help tutor in paper and pencil methods of solving differential equations, I am skilled in modeling and numerical methods.

As a graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with degrees in Computational Mathematics and Engineering Physics, I have appropriate course work related to coding in FORTRAN. I have tutored for the past two years at the university. My senior capstone project required simulation of plasma using FORTRAN.

As a graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with degrees in Computational Mathematics and Engineering Physics, I have appropriate course work in linear algebra in topics such as elimination techniques, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenfunctions and other essential topics. I have tutored at Embry-Riddle as a math tutor, so I have experience tutoring math and linear algebra.
