I was a middle school teacher for two years, and a Red Cross, (CPR & First Aid) instructor for many years. I love to teach especially young adults and adults that are serious to learn. I have been using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator since 1995, and InDesign since it was released in 1999. I have worked as a Graphic Designer in four print shops and two advertising agencies. I have designed many posters, direct mail pieces, brochures, stationery, newsletters and logos.
When I design something for a client I usually use those three: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I prefer to work on a Macintosh computer, because they were originally designed and built for computer graphics. I work with students patiently and I speak and write clearly. My goal is not just to pick up a paycheck but to get the satisfaction that my students learn how to use Adobe Creative Suite applications.

In the early 1990's I was a illustrator for AT&T Universal Card Services internal newsletters. In 1993 a painting of mine won 'Best of Show' in an art exhibit.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Florida in Graphic Design. I have been using Adobe InDesign since it was introduced in 1999. I am now an expert at using Adobe InDesign. I have designed many posters, stationary, direct mail pieces, banners, signs, and charts which are in my portfolio. In this month of February 2016 I designed a 20 page newsletter that has gone to press for a Jacksonville organization. I also have experience as a teacher in teaching adults CPR and First Aid in which I was recognized. I hope to hear from you. Thank you.
