B.S. Florida State University (Chemistry)
I recently graduated from FSU with two Bachelor's degrees and two minors. I love science and have found joy in the tutoring jobs I've had. I also currently work as a tutor for FSU libraries and am a prospective MCAT tutor for the Princeton Review. I know what it's like to feel stuck on some of the difficult concepts and I put forward my best effort to explain in a matter that makes sense to the student. I am nice, fair, and dedicated and look forward to working with you!
As a chemistry major, I have taken many upper level math classes and feel that solidifying the foundation of the mathematics education is very important. I have taken up to Calculus III and have much experience in these areas as much of these concepts are dealt with in chemistry on a daily basis.
I love chemistry and have since I was in high school. As a result, I became a chemistry major in college and also work as a chemistry tutor for the University. I particularly have an interest in organic chemistry and am working in a physical organic chemistry lab. I also have experience teaching general chemistry in a lab setting to students that were mostly freshman and sophomores.
I am a recent graduate with plenty of experience under my belt but I also understand how important it is to get help when you're stuck on something. Finding someone that's reliable and capable is sometimes difficult especially when you're in the middle of classes and exams. So, please reach out. I am here to help in any way I can and look forward to working with you! I recently graduated from FSU with two Bachelor's degrees and two minors. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
With a background in Mathematics and Chemistry, I have been working as a Chemistry tutor for the FSU libraries for almost a year helping students improve their standing in their Chemistry courses, all of which involve applying numerous mathematical concepts. I also have a minor in Mathematics and took up to Calculus 1 in high school.
I have just completed attaining 2 Bachelor's Degrees from FSU and have taken math classes up to Calculus III.
