About Wendy

I am enthusiastic about teaching others learn and successfully grow to be Criminal Justice professionals. I tutored students while I was in undergraduate and the feedback was always positive: "I got an A!" "Thank you so much for helping me to understand the basic concepts!" "You make learning easy!"

I have been mentored by anthropological professors and department chairs for 10 years in graduate school and at the Ph.D. level. I conducted ethnography work in Mexico, qualitative research and the basic anthropology concepts.

I am a Criminal Justice Professional with 15 years of experience in the field. I have worked in Reentry/Community Corrections. Prisons/Jails/Lock-Ups, Compliance/Quality Assurance, Drug Treatment, etc. I have a through understanding of the system and how it functions from a theoretical angle and from a practitioner standpoint.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Administration of Justice. I have a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice.

I have worked in the field of Criminal Justice for fifteen years in community corrections, drug treatment centers, prisons, courts, jails, etc. I have trained and tutored individuals in the subject matter on a one to one basis and in group settings.
