My name is Emily, and I am originally from Buffalo, New York. I moved to Florida in August 2015 to be closer to my family. I have taught high school, 1st grade, 6th grade and I currently teach students with Autism. I have tutored students of all ages and levels my entire career. I love tutoring students because it allows for direct, one on one intensive instruction. It is the best way to meet the students' need and help them grow! I also enjoy being allowed the time to be able to get to know the student, including their strengths, weakness, likes and favorite pastimes. Building relationships is key to success!

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
