I just wanted to let you know a little about myself. I love love teaching, and I graduated recently with my Ph.D. in Economics from UF. While at UF, I was a full instructor for 3 classes, and have continually Economics students throughout the years. Prior to my graduate studies, I have tutored in Math and Economics throughout my high school and college career. Apart from Math and Economics, I can also teach general subjects for elementary and middle school students, because I enjoy teaching in general. I plan on being a professor eventually, so I take my tutoring jobs seriously. They are not only a means of helping someone but also a challenge for myself to make sure that each student is able to understand the material, while also picking up some great study habits, which sustain students throughout their academic career. I would describe myself as friendly, patient, insightful, creative, and inspiring.
Thanks for your time. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. Hey there,

She help me with almost all my college algebra class. She so good with the subject I don't even trust any other tutor. If you need help in algebra she your tutor. Because she knows her stuff.
Very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be calling her again! Love her tutoring approach as she makes sure you understand concepts, instead of just showing you how they work.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Majored in Mathematics at University of Florida
As an undergraduate student, I majored in math and economics, with minors in religion and statistics. I am now a PhD student in Economics, and have been tutoring math and economics all throughout. I realize that sometimes tutoring isn't just about teaching the material but also guiding the student in how to study. I'm great with kids, and am a great motivator. I've taught myself different ways to study, and am confident I can teach others, as I do for the students I tutor. Among other achievements, I have won a MathMovesU scholarship for writing an essay on how to make the study of Math fun. I think I'll be great at teaching students the study skills necessary for their success.
